The annual Sydney Film Festival has officially started, just after the Cannes Film Festival at the end of May, and it reminds us of all the prestigious film festivals that take place throughout the year. From La Biennale di Venezia, the world’s oldest film festival, to local affairs, here’s your guide to all the film festivals happening in 2022 and when they’re happening.

Sundance Film Festival 2022

As one of the most prestigious film festivals in the United States, the Sundance Film Festival is one of the first of the year. Celebrating both American and international film titles, the Film Festival takes place in Park City, Utah each January.
