It’s finally (rather) cool outside and the festivities begin! Before we overwhelm you with our massive list of all things Christmas, let’s start with the Christmas fairs and festivals happening this month.

Holidays at Les Chênes 2021 (Lake)

Join Bombshell Beauty Co. for a Holiday Sip N Shop on Thursday, November 18! Singer-songwriter Micah Wagner will perform while Bombshell Beauty Co. will offer deep discounts on beauty products and vendors will sell and/or taste their fabulous holiday gifts! Blue Genie Art Bazaar

The Blue Genie Art Bazaar is an Austin holiday season staple! We have thousands of original works ranging from serious art to fun and kitsch items. Shopping at the bazaar is a great way to purchase holiday gifts in a hassle-free environment, while supporting local artists.

Holiday Celebration (Georgetown)

Austin Holiday Market Extravaganza

15th Annual Christmas Bazaar
November 20 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Westoak Woods Baptist Church, 2900 W Slaughter Lane

The 15th Annual Christmas Bazaar takes over the entire Church campus with more than 100 vendors, food trucks, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, door prizes every 30 minutes, and photos with the Santa Claus. Start the holidays off right by finding the right gifts for everyone on your list. Bring our family, friends and neighbors for a great day and know that Westoak Woods Baptist Church will use 100% of its proceeds to fund service projects locally and around the world.

The Holiday Market at Hill Country Galleria

Hill Country Galleria has transformed the Central Plaza into a holiday market open to the public from November 26 to December 24. Experience the outdoor ambiance filled with holiday cheer and an abundance of family photos. In addition to the 100 shops and restaurants at the Hill Country Galleria, the Holiday Market is a must-visit holiday destination with unique gifts, holiday shows, twinkling holiday lights and an abundance of family entertainment. Other Christmas events in November

Christmas Light Show at Mozart’s Cafe
From November 11 to January 6 | Reservations available between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. | Mozart’s Cafe, 3825 Lake Austin
This year’s show is bigger, better and *brighter* than ever! 2020 brought us the COVID Cautious Christmas Light Show where they ensured all guests had proper social distancing by securing pre-booked tables. It was a break from the traditional ‘festival‘ format – of ‘come one, come all… anytime’. It was a success! They received great feedback on this format – so reserved tables are back for Mozart’s Light Show 2021! Reserved tables include a fee, however, there is also a free option to watch the show. Downtown lighting and arrival of Santa Claus (New Braunfels)
November 19 | 6:00 p.m. | New Braunfels Main Square

The City of New Braunfels invites everyone to ring in the holiday season on Friday, November 19 with the arrival of Santa Claus under one hundred thousand twinkling lights in historic downtown New Braunfels. The evening will begin with music provided by the Comal Community Band. Holiday treats and pictures with Santa on the bandstand will be available for purchase from the New Braunfels Downtown Association. The photo with Santa Claus will cost $10.00, cash only.

The Gateway of Lights (Marble Falls)
From November 19 to January 01 | From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Every evening | Lakeside Park, 305 Buena Vista Drive,

The Walkway of Lights, hosted by the Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce, returns for its 31st year. Open nightly, the Walkway of Lights displays two million lights in Lakeside Park and over 350+ light sculptures. He is FREE to the public and is funded entirely by donations.

Holiday tree lighting
November 20 | 5 to 7 p.m. | The Arboretum, 10000, boulevard de la Recherche

Take part in the annual Christmas tree lighting celebration with Santa Claus and all his friends! They will even have two snow slides and a snow play area for all children and big children! Stick around till the end to help Santa and Mrs. Claus light up their 22-foot Christmas tree! Generously presented by CleanX Janitorial Services.

55 Nights of Fredericksburg Lights (Fredericksburg)
From November 23 to January 6 | From 6 p.m. Every evening | Marktplatz, 100 West Main Street, Fredericksburg

Starting Tuesday, November 23, all are invited to attend a 10-minute audio presentation, featuring the story of the city’s German heritage, Christmas carols and ending with a countdown to the illumination of the Marktplatz. The Fredericksburg Christmas Light Nights continue each evening at 6 p.m. and continue through Thursday, January 6. Each evening will feature holiday music starting at 5 p.m., as well as the 6 p.m. audio presentation and lighting countdown. After the countdown, the music will end at 6:30 p.m.

Dancing Lights of Mill Pond Park (San Saba)
From November 25 to January 5 | Twilight until 10 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday, Twilight until 11 p.m. Thursday to Saturday | Mill Pond Park, 110 Thomas Stewart Drive, San Saba

See the dancing lights of Mill Pond Park! Tune your radio to 88.7 FM and enjoy music synced to over 30 acres of seasonal magic. Enjoy every night until January 5. Free admission.

Spectacular lights in Johnson City
From November 26 to January 2 | Every evening at dusk | Downtown Johnson City
Imagine a bright display with over a million lights. And it’s so big that NASA reported seeing it from the International Space Station! Yes, that would be the Johnson City Texas Lights Spectacular. From November 26 to January 2, you and your family can see this incredible light show for free. A few quick tips: Get to Johnson City Texas early – before the sun goes down. Park up against the courthouse or around downtown streets in areas that allow parking. Visit the Johnson City Visitor’s Center early (during regular business hours) for free maps, guides, and information about the area.

Square Lighting (Georgetown)
November 26 | 5.30 p.m. 10 7 p.m. | Historic Town Square in Downtown Georgetown, 710 S Main Street, Georgetown

The City of Georgetown’s traditional Lighting of the Square event will return to an in-person ceremony this year. Lights around the plaza and the Williamson County Courthouse will be officially turned on Nov. 26 and will remain up until Jan. 1, 2022. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to come early, make shopping and dining around the square. , and watch “Texas’ Prettiest Town Square” light up with tens of thousands of lights.

Santa Claus is coming to town and he’ll be taking pictures with your pup! Stop at the Arboretum in front of the Christmas tree next to Amy’s Ice Creams and take free photos with Santa (Santa can be socially distanced for photos). They will also collect food and pet supplies for the PALS Meals on Wheels program which helps seniors living with their pets. Photography will not be provided. Please bring your own phone or camera.

Weekend with Santa Claus
November 27 | 1 to 3 p.m. |
The Arboretum, 10000, boulevard de la Recherche
Santa Claus is coming to town and he wants to take pictures with you! Stop at the Arboretum to take free photos with Santa* (Santa can be socially distanced for photos). He will be in front of the 22′ Christmas tree with Mrs. Christmas! Photography will not be provided. Please bring your own phone or camera.

Happy Grinchmas: Holiday Launch Event
November 27 | 3 p.m. | Northside Estate, 1700 Estate Blvd.
Kick off the holiday season, Grinch style. Join the NORTHSIDE estate for an afternoon of fun Grinch activities: photo ops with The Grinch himself, Vannagram and selfie stations, holiday tunes and cartoon artists. And finally, at 6 p.m., experience the official lighting of the tree, with Dr Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) showing right after!

Light up the place
November 27 | 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. | Hill Country Galleria, 12700 Hill Country Blvd.
Be there as they light up the Hill Country Galleria plaza! Enjoy holiday shows, face painting, and arrive early for shopping at the Holiday Market at Hill Country Galleria. The program will start at 6:00 p.m. where you can see Santa Claus and enjoy live music by American authors! Listen to their hit song “Best Day of My Life” with holiday tunes. Hosted by Mix 94.7. Free entry.
