Two seasonal events suspended by the coronavirus shutdown at Disney California Adventure will return in 2022 with a pair of festival lineups including food, entertainment, and party-dressed Disney characters.
Disney California Adventure will host its Lunar New Year event from January 21 to February 13 and the Food & Wine Festival from March 4 to April 26.

DCA’s Lunar New Year event celebrates Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures and traditions with multicultural shows and dishes.
The Year of the Tiger will bring Tigger to DCA for the Lunar New Year festivities with other Disney characters.
Raya from Disney’s 2021 animated film “Raya and the Last Dragon” will also be making appearances in DCA’s Redwood Creek Challenge Trail area.
Mickey and Minnie will return in their seasonal outfits with Mulan and Mushu in the “Mulan Lunar New Year Procession”.
The Lunar New Year 2021 event has been put on hold by the 412-day pandemic shutdown of DCA and Disneyland.
The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will feature local, celebrity and Disney chefs offering free cooking demonstrations on weekends and paid signature events throughout the event.
The DCA Food & Wine Festival was cut short in March 2020 by the pandemic closure of Anaheim theme parks and replaced by the A Touch of Disney food festival in March 2021.
Sip and Savor passes will be available for both the Lunar New Year and the Food & Wine Festival, allowing visitors to purchase a prepaid card with multiple tabs for individual items at food and drink stalls throughout. long events.
Unused Food & Wine Festival 2020 Sip and Savor Cards cut short by the Disneyland and DCA coronavirus shutdown cannot be used during Lunar New Year and the Food & Wine Festival. Sip and Savor Cards purchased previously from 2020 can be used during the Festival of the Holidays event currently underway at DCA.
Both 2022 events will feature live entertainment on festival stages throughout the park.
