Vagos Metal Festival

If you’re looking for moshing, headbanging, wall of death lineup that incites death, we’ve got the festival for you. Vagos Metal Festival is one of the biggest metal festivals in the country. It has grown considerably since its first edition in 2016 and will probably only continue to grow thanks to its brilliant line-ups, including some well-known artists such as Chelsea Grin, Soulfly, Suicidal tendencies, Whitechapel, Napalm Death and more.
Rolling Loud Portugal

Replacement EDC Portgual, Secret Project Festival landed with a delicious techno, house and drum and bass lineup for its first edition in 2022. As the festival is new to Portugal, we’re not sure what to expect, but the organizers will certainly have their work cut out for them. That said, the festival is off to a great start with such an impressive lineup, including Camelphat, Ann Clue, Alan Fitzpatrick, Boris Brejcha, Dom Dolla, Shy FX, and that doesn’t include the huge headliners.
Rock in Lisbon
When: Friday 17 – Monday 20 June

Lineup: Foo Fighters, Duran Duran, Black Eyed Peas, Post Malone, The National, a-Ha, Ellie Golding, Liam Gallagher, Anitta, Bush, Ivete Sangalo, Jason Derulo

This year, the festival has booked some of the biggest names in rock, indie, pop, hip hop and new wave as headliners. And with more names to be announced soon, Rock in Lisbon will probably be one of the biggest and most diverse festivals in Portugal in 2022.

VOA Heavy Rock Festival

For three days, some of the biggest names in the metal industry will take to the stage in the massive, crowded stadium with a capacity of around 50,000 people. For a weekend dedicated to heavy tunes, VOA heavy rock is the one.

Finally back for its 15th birthday, Neopop was unfortunately forced to cancel in 2020 and 2021, so we’re excited to see it back and better than ever with a lineup that would pique the interest of any electronic music fan. The festival will take place in Viana do Castelo, coastal city with a Mediterranean climate. Perfect!

Super Bock Super Rock

Now over 25 years old, Super Bock Super Rock is one of the most popular Portuguese festivals. Despite its name, the festival recruits artists from a variety of genres. This year’s lineup includes hip-hop artists ASAP rockysynth-pop band hot chipand independent group Foals. Many more artists will be announced soon, so keep your eyes peeled for more updates.
